PENCIL+GREY MARKERS
(on kraft)
The key to using this type of paper is to recognize the paper itself represents a "midtone" such as a 50% tone. This means that you should treat it is as the basis for how you treat your highlights and shadows. Because it represents the base tone, you can use a grey marker to quickly establish a cast shadow side and use a white pencil to create highlights. The nature of the texture also adds to a bit of drama that bond paper will never be able to offer. Be aware - this paper has a tendency to absorb LOTS of ink.
