Progress Update
Those of you that were at one of the presentations may recall a slide which showed a number of the individual pots of money that when brought together added up to the £2m required to complete the purchase. Those of you with expert memories will recall that there were 8 individual lumps of money from different sources that made up the £2m worth of funding for the CIC
We are now in the final stages of getting a decision, one way or another from the final two of the funders.
It is true that this has taken a lot longer than either 10000hours or the consortium would have liked and it has been an education about just how long it does take to do this sort of thing, but we are nearly there.
In the month of June we will be meeting with the final groups from the funders at the stadium and elsewhere in Paisley to hopefully conclude the deal.
These funders have been working with 10000hours for a considerable period of time and we are now at the final stages of the process.
If we get a yes from them both then the deal will complete.
This is why it is now important that we can show not just the willingness of the Community to pledge but now the willingness of the community to financially commit.
So that is where we are at today.
